Position Title: Police Officer - Entry or Lateral

Eatonville Police Department is currently hiring for Entry level or Lateral Police Officer.

Entry Level candidates must complete the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network.

Salary Information: Salary Grade 49 Range A-G $5,534 - $6,418

Specific Disqualifiers/Behaviors:

Felony, Criminal Activity Disqualifiers
Not be a convicted felon at any time under the laws of this state or a federal or out of state offense comparable to a felony under the laws of this state.
Have not been convicted of a domestic violence charge in this state or any other state.
As an adult, commission of an undiscovered felony crime within the past 7 years.
Gross Misdemeanor conviction as an adult and Juvenile felony convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Unlawful sexual misconduct (excluding sealed & destroyed records).
Misdemeanor conviction within the last 3 years or while employed in a criminal justice capacity.

Diving Disqualifiers
One or more traffic crime convictions in last 5 years (DWI, Suspended, Reckless, etc., or more than 3 moving violations in the past year.

Drug Use Disqualifiers
Use of marijuana within the past year or 25 times in the past 5 years.
Hallucinogens, such as LSD, PCP, Psilocybin Mushrooms, and Salvia use within lifetime.
Use/possession of any other illegal drug in past 20 years.
Use/possession of anabolic steroids within the past 5 years.

Employment Disqualifiers
Withdrawn from consideration from law enforcement, fire, or corrections employment because of criminal activity or dishonesty.
Dishonorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces.
Dishonesty or willful omissions during any stage of the hiring process.
Falsified any document during hiring process.
Previous revocation, denial, or suspension of CJTC/POST certification.

Financial Disqualifiers
Failure to pay income tax or child support
Current credit accounts or unresolved accounts with 3 delinquent accounts in past 3 years.

Additional Disqualifiers
Any other factor or combination of factors which would make the applicant a detriment to the department.
