If you are an experienced Dispatcher, with minimum of three years of experience in that role in a similarly sized and complex organization, preferably have experience with WVCC, and have current required state certifications, then please complete an online application today. Testing for the ECOMM National test is available at the Brooklake campus of Chemeketa Community College, and various other locations.
Salary Information: $23.40 - $29.58/hour + excellent benefitsThere is also 5% bilingual pay incentive for language skills in Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai, Low and Loa, Cambodian, Highland Lao (Mien) or Hmong, or Russian.

In July of 2012, Lincoln County agencies previously served by LinCom 9-1-1 also joined the WVCC family. WVCC is a division of the Salem Police Department; their 70+ member staff members are all employees of the City of Salem.59 call takers and dispatchers are trained and certified by the State of Oregon in Telecommunications and Emergency Medical Dispatch protocol which enables them to provide medical instruction to callers while paramedics are en route. Six Shift Supervisors, a Training Coordinator and an Operations Manager all work towards providing emergency call and incident handling.City Information: Salem is the capital City of Oregon, located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, surrounded by recreational areas, located an hour from ocean beaches, Portland and the Cascade Mountains.
