Granite Falls Fire is building an ongoing list for the position of Part-Time Firefighter and anticipates filling these vacancies immediately following the close of this posting. Qualified candidates not initially selected will remain in the pool of applicants for a period of 12-months.
Salary Information: $18.50hr - $19.50hr
Benefit Information: BVFF or PERS Retirement, $25,000 life insurance, AD&D, Annual Training Allowance (After one year of continuous employement).

Department Overview: Snohomish County Fire District #17 covers 50.5sq miles from two stations. We are a combination fire department consisting of 3 Chief Officers, 1 Administrative Lieutenant, 1 Office Assistant, 3 Captains, 12 full-time Firefighter/EMT’s, 4 fulltime Paramedics and 25 part-time employees who obtain a great deal of experience and opportunity to expand on their current knowledge and skill.
PTE’s are assigned to a platoon and will become an integral part of their shift during the probationary period.
Area Information: Serving the City of Granite Falls and the surrounding 50.5 square miles of mostly rural unincorporated Snohomish County.
