A series of interview questions recorded online through NTN’s candidate portal. Candidate recorded answers are made available to hiring departments for review. What is required to record an online interview? You MUST meet ALL requirements or you will not be able to record your interview responses: The latest version of Google Chrome Webcam Microphone Quiet and private room A computer or laptop running Windows 10 or better, or Mac 10.11 or better is strongly recommended. At this time iPhones are not compatible with our Online Interviews. What is not allowed when recording an online interview? The following items are not allowed when recording an online interview with NTN: Electronic recording devices Sunglasses Hats Other individuals in the room Is someone watching me while I record my interview? Everything you do is recorded. All recorded videos are reviewed for security purposes, however, live proctors are not watching candidates during the recording process. Am I allowed to leave the room while recording my interview? No. You may not leave the room once you start the interview. The interview lasts approximately 15 minutes. It is important that you take care of any personal needs before the interview (i.e., using the restroom, etc.) as there are no breaks. What happens if I have a technical issue during the interview? The system supports a self-review function. Technical issues must be reported during that time. Please also contact Support immediately. What happens if I notice a problem with one of my videos during my review? If you notice an issue with the practice question, please verify you’re using a high speed internet connection and/or find another computer to use for the interview. If you notice a problem with the audio during the review of your answers, at the end of the interview you will be able to indicate a problem, then contact Support as instructed. What kind of support is available? Support hours and contact information is located on the NTN Support page. Please note that NTN does not provide technical support. Where do I go to access the online interview system? If the online interview is required by one or more of the jobs you have applied to, it can be accessed from the candidate account landing page. Is there a cost for an online interview? No. Do I need to redo my online interview for each department that would like to access it? It depends on the job requirements for each department. If a new recording is required, it will be clearly communicated. How long does the online interview recordings stay valid in my NTN Account? Online interview recordings are linked to each job application and therefore can be valid for up to one year. How am I alerted that I need to do an online interview? A prompt to complete the online interview will display in the candidate account if an interview is required by an active job application.
